Our dance program ...
We provide a year-round program, September to August. Each week builds upon the prior week, and each session advances with more difficult moves and technique. Students showcase their progress in our annual recital, which will be on Sunday, June (TBD), 2024. The Nutcracker will be performed on Sunday, December (TBD), 2023. Both performances will be held at the Oak Lawn Community High School.
Level Placements
Students ages 2 through 8 (pre-school through 2nd grade) should register for classes in their age/grade categories.
All upper level students (3rd-12th grade) are by placement only based on their technical ability. Current MDA students will receive level placement notices in August.
New and transferring students who are age 8 and older with no experience should email us or call 773-401-6549 to discuss level placement. All upper level classes are by placement only.
No classes are currently scheduled.

MASK OPTIONAL -- We no longer require masks to be worn by staff, dancers, nor visitors, but it is optional. Parents and visitors may remain in the large waiting area, or view classrooms from the upper or lower level without masks. If, at any time, the CDC, the State of Illinois, or the EPCHS recommends protection from any airborn virus, more rigid safety policies may be put in place, including classes being streamed through Zoom, if necessary. There are no refunds or credits while on Zoom. MDA's Safety Procedures adhere to, or exceed, the CDC, State of Illinois, IHSA, and EPCHS safety requirements. Everyone's good health is our first priority. ~ The MDA Staff
